Training and Development
ALEC offers a comprehensive four-day onsite new employee orientation. We pride ourselves on ensuring that our new team members have received a great onboarding experience, have been introduced to our friendly staff, including a tour of our service centers, learn about our culture and service focus, understand organizational policies, and that we are setting them up for success as they join their departments.
Each new employee will receive job-specific training in their departments. The length of training varies based on the employee’s role and experience level.
Training will continue to occur at the department and organizational level, including when there are changes in products, services and policies.
ALEC believes that communication with employees is critical and holds quarterly All Employee Meetings. Employees can expect to receive updates from our CEO, Human Resources, department updates, service training and recognizing employees.
Employees with at least one year of service at ALEC are eligible for tuition reimbursement for business-relevant courses, up to $5,000 per year.
Leadership is a personal and professional development program that provides learning opportunities based on practical group discussions.
